The White House is asking the University of Arizona and eight other colleges to commit to President Donald Trump's political priorities in order to access federal funds. According to the Associated Press, a document sent to the universities encourages them to adopt Trump's vision for America’s campuses, asking them to accept the government’s priorities on admissions, women’s sports, free speech, student discipline and college affordability, among other topics. The colleges must also freeze tuition for five years and cap international student enrollment numbers. U of A is the only Arizona university being asked to support the president's agenda.
